The Grace of God

It has been a while since I have left a review and my reviews have been growing further apart (due to my busy schedule!) but I had some down time this weekend and tired getting this book read as soon as possible which did not turn out to be hard. The Grace of God by Andy Stanley turned out to be a great read! The author of this book, Andy Stanley, is the pastor at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA which is a large church and the church my Aunt goes to. I have not been to this church and have only heard things about it and Andy so I was glad to get the chance to read this book.

The Grace of God is a book I will probably start to recommend. In the open pages the author tells us that grace is something that is not earned, and if you think you earned it you don't know what grace is, that grace is for everyone, and that grace is the factor that determines us as Christians. "Grace is not earned; it is offered." is how Andy illustrates grace. Through his clear and easy to follow examples of grace through the bible (using biblical characters) we can see grace like we have not before. This book is for the person that needs a better understanding of grace, how it applies to our lives, and how to use grace in our Christian lives.
The publisher has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book or advanced reading copy through BookSneeze®.
